Academic Background:

Bachelor’s Degree in Law: Lina Ghvinianidze obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Law from Tbilisi Ivane Javakhishvili State University in 2008.

Master’s Degree in Law: She earned a Master’s Degree in Democratic Governance and Rule of Law from Ohio Northern University in 2011.

MA in Development and Human Rights: Lina has been a recipient of the prestigious Chevening Scholarship, which allowed her to pursue an MA program in Development and Human Rights at Swansea University in the United Kingdom in 2019.

Professional Experience:

Lina Ghvinianidze is one of the founders of the Social Justice Center, an organization focused on promoting social justice and human rights causes. From 2013 to 2018, she held the responsibility of leading the Social Rights Program at the Social Justice Center where she worked on various issues related to social rights and social policy. From 2019 to 2022, Lina served as the Executive Director of the Social Justice Center. Lina Ghvinianidze has authored and supervised several individual and joint publications.
