Biography
Tamar Babuadze is a 2002 MA graduate from the Tbilisi State University, Department of Press Journalism. Her research for Masters Degree covered the topics that emerged in the literature section of Georgian Emmigrants’ Press since 1921. Throughout her working career Tamar used to work for various Georgian magazines and newspapers. In the meanwhile she used to translate fiction and nonfiction from English language. For Gipa University for the BA level students of specific educational field Tamar used to hold creative writing classes.
Starting from 2015 Tamar’s working experience is mostly connected to the Publishing House INDIGO. Recently, with her fellow editors and INDIGO team Tamar works on production of thematic publications, which gives them opportunity to find deeper focus and multiple perspectives on various issues.
Currently, Tamar is thoroughly involved in the content creation and editing procss both for online and print INDIGO.
Other research interests also are: topics connected to the child development and education. Remote settlements and the contact formation with outer world.
