Bio
Evelina Gambino is a Visiting Postdoctoral Fellow in the Geography Department at UCL. Her work focuses on large infrastructural projects in the Republic of Georgia. Through an ethnographic approach, she explores the movements of financial capital, the labour relations, narratives, expectations and conflicts emerging around the key sites of Georgia’s logistical future. Evelina’s work has appeared in journals and online publications within and beyond the academia including Political Geography; Geopolitics; Work, Organisation, Labour, Globalisation; Scienza&Politica; Caucasus Analytical Digest; Il Giornale dell’Archiettura; Euronomade; Lo Squaderno; 1Tv: Georgian Public Broadcast; Into the Black Box and edited collections published by Duke University Press, University of Bologna and Werkleitz Festival.
